A couple were crushed to death on December 5 after a lorry
tipped over and landed on their car in Kunming, Yunnan province in China.

The couple in the car were killed instantly. The lorry is
reported to weigh more than 100 tonnes and was carrying around 80 tonnes of
coal. A traffic police officer warned after the incident that cars 'should
keep a safe distance from trucks'.
The officer said that many car owners drive too fast
on turns and around lorries. Yunnan’s roads are known for being particularly
dangerous.
