Senator Ngige the newly appointed minister of Labour and
productivity has said he is out to fight against the growing rate of
unemployment in our country. He said the ministry under him will ensure that, as
he urges the staff to think creatively to generate many employment
possibilities and ideas.
The Assistant Director in charge of Media at the Ministry of
Labour, Mr. Samuel Olowookere, said the Minister made the comment while
addressing workers of the ministry on his assumption of office in Abuja on
Wednesday.
He said, “We will be at the fore-front of the battle to stop
the scourge of unemployment in the country.
“We must, as a people, put on our thinking caps so that we
can chart the way forward for employment generation.”
