Schools, Markets to be closed for HID Awolowo’s burial -Ogun state govt.

This Wednesday, the 25^th November, the Ogun state government is set to bury late Chief HID Awolowo, wife of late Obafemi Awolowo. To this effect the government has directed all markets and public schools in the Remo district of the state to be closed on Wednesday. The state government's directive is contained in a statement signed in Abeokuta on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Taiwo Adeoluwa. The statement said the directive would affect only schools within Ikenne, Remo North and Sagamu Local Government Areas.
