In an attempt to put an end to a miserable life, a heartless
mother in Sri Lanka shocked people by consuming poison and giving some to her
five-year-old daughter.
Going by reports, it was alleged that the woman was
tired of life and so, looked for a way to end her misery. how bad can it get? She left a
handwritten letter after committing the acts. Neighbors who found the
mother and child took them to the hospital where they were admitted. The woman later
passed away.
In the dead woman's handwritten letter, she wrote that no
one should attempt to rescue her and her daughter as she had decided to commit
suicide on her birthday. The child has been transferred to Lady Ridgeway
Children’s Hospital in Colombo for further treatment. The hospital’s director
said that her condition was not good. Police has recorded a statement from the
dead woman’s husband while continuing investigations.
