Popular Nigerian musician, born Bisade Ologunde, popularly
known as Lagbaja, has come hard on his colleagues in the showbiz industry,
saying they prefer to show off than to seek for knowledge.
The masked-musician, who was one of the guests at a workshop
organised by the Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON, in celebration of the
COSON Week, which recently took place in Lagos, disclosed to The Nation that
entertainers do not like to gain more knowledge on things that are beneficial
to their careers.
According to the multi-award winning Afro-beat musician,
most of his colleagues in the showbiz industry are always interested in red
carpets, where they show off their fashion items.
He said, “My colleagues in the industry who need this
knowledge are not here, but will show up for the red carpet event, which they
feel is more important.
“Lagbaja is happening today because I learnt to take care of
the business side,” the ‘Omo Jayejaye’ crooner added.
