Kayden Coleman a transgender has been living as a man after
he transitioned from being a woman almost a decade ago, with husband Elijah.
For
about 5 years, he took testosterone pills and had grown facial hair, and was in
process of having double mastectomy when nature interrupted and he realized his growing belly wasn’t as a result of lack
of exercise but he was pregnant, he was beyond shocked.
With a broad smile, the 29-year-old explains: “I
never thought about getting pregnant. Because of the male hormones, I didn’t
think it was a possibility. It was definitely a surprise.”
His pregnancy went smoothly but when it came to the birth in
December 2013, it was a different story as
Kayden, was induced at nine months, he had high blood pressure , and was in labour for four days, but
eventually had their baby. Kayden Coleman and husband Elijah who now have a
22-month-old baby named Azaelia, plans to tell her about her unusual family when
she is five, she calls Kayden “Daddy” and Elijah “Poppy..lol
