The Presidency on Sunday confirmed that President Muhammadu
Buhari will on Wednesday inaugurate his ministers and administer oaths of
office on the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral
Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and five national commissions on Monday.
The confirmation was contained in a statement made available
to journalists on Sunday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and
Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.
Adesina explained further that each minister-designate was
expected to attend the Wednesday inauguration scheduled for 10am with a maximum
of two guests.
The inauguration of the INEC chairman and his commissioners,
according to the presidential spokesman, is scheduled to hold by 11am on
Monday.
He said, “President Muhammadu Buhari will officially
inaugurate a new Federal Executive Council on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.
